The tools we recommend for Shopify founders, and what each one is actually good at.

• Shopify Magic and Sidekick — Shopify's own AI tools, built into the admin. Magic writes product and store copy in place; Sidekick answers questions about your store and takes actions for you.
• ChatGPT — A general-purpose assistant that handles the longer-form work Shopify's built-in tools aren't aimed at — strategy, campaign planning and structured content.
• Claude — An assistant that holds long documents well, useful for editing your whole site's copy against one set of brand rules.
• Shopify Flow — Shopify's built-in automation tool. Trigger tags, emails and admin actions from store events without writing code.
• Klaviyo — Email and SMS built around Shopify data, with the segmentation and flow logic most stores eventually need.
• Shopify Email — Shopify's own email tool. Fewer features than a dedicated platform, but free for your first 10,000 emails a month and already connected to your store.
