For a store sending a campaign or two a month, Shopify Email is enough. Templates pull in your products directly and there's nothing to integrate.

Its automations cover the basics — welcome, abandoned checkout — but the segmentation is simpler than Klaviyo's.

The sensible path is to start here, and move when your segmentation needs outgrow it rather than on principle.
