Writing UGC scripts with AI
Turning real customer language into short-form video scripts that don't sound written.
Content · Intermediate · 7 min
The raw material for a good UGC script already exists in your reviews and support inbox. Start there rather than asking a model to imagine how someone talks about your product.
Paste twenty reviews and ask for the recurring objections and the phrases customers use unprompted. Those phrases are the script.
Keep scripts to a single idea and under 30 seconds. A hook drawn from a real objection outperforms a hook written to sound like an ad.
Steps
- Export your last 50 reviews and support messages.
- Ask for the five most common objections and the exact customer phrasing.
- Draft one 25-second script per objection.
- Read each aloud and cut anything you wouldn't say.
