Product detail page (PDP)
A product detail page is the page for a single product, holding its images, description, options, price and add-to-cart action.
The PDP does most of the conversion work in a Shopify store. It's where a visitor decides whether the product is right for them and whether you're worth trusting with a card number.
Treat it as a landing page: a clear promise above the fold, imagery that shows the product in use, benefits before specs, and answers to shipping and returns questions where they come up.
Reviews, sizing help and a visible returns policy remove the objections that quietly kill add-to-cart rate.
